The awesome reality that this song brought out so vividly to me is that THE song of praise has been playing since eternity past before earth was created yet we have now entered the picture and we have the awesome privilege of joining in with the praise that has always been going on and will forever continue to go on. Kingdoms rise and fall. Earth will have its day and then be replaced with a new one. In the whole process all the universe will continue the song of praise! From the tiniest bird to the biggest star, sounds of praise will continue to flow forth to OUR GREAT GOD for all eternity! This is about 10,000 times better than it needed to be. Truly beautiful. This has always been my favorite Christmas song. They'd ask me, and I'd say 'Gesu Bamino', and they'd say 'What?'. No lie, this song was on an old 8-track we would play in my house all Christmas season and it came to represent Christmas to me. This was a beautiful performance.

Your choir and orchestra are of similar size to ours, and I am enjoying humming along with you during my work day today! I just love the works of Joseph Martin! We have done several of his cantatas and anthems at Main Street UMC in Hattiesburg, MS. I see you are Clinton UMC, but in what state are you located?
